Crossword Genius

Endure going in for each dressing (7)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

plaster

'dressing' is the definition.
(I have seen 'Medical dressing ' mean 'plaster' so perhaps 'dressing' could also mean 'plaster')

'endure going in for each' is the wordplay.
'endure' becomes 'last' ('last' can be a synonym of 'endure').
'going in' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'for each' becomes 'per' (I've seen this before).
'last' placed into 'per' is 'PLASTER'.

(Other definitions for plaster that I've seen before include "Render (walls)" , "Substance for coating walls" , "Strip of material for dressing wound" , "Smooth mixture to cover walls" , "Daub" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
