Crossword Genius

Go round gallery after run out (6)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

rotate

'go round' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'gallery after run out' is the wordplay.
'gallery' becomes 'tate' (Tate Modern, Tate Britain etc).
'after' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'run out' becomes 'RO' (cricket abbreviation).
'tate' after 'ro' is 'ROTATE'.

(Other definitions for rotate that I've seen before include "Spin as on axle" , "wheel" , "Revolve" , "Spin round" , "Go around" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
