Crossword Genius

Group eating right meal (6)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

brunch

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'meal' is the definition.
(brunch is a kind of meal)

'group eating right' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'group' could be 'run' (run is a kind of group) and 'run' is found in the answer.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for brunch that I've seen before include "Late morning repast" , "Late breakfast, or early lunch" , "Mid-morning meal" , "Combination breakfast and lunch" , "11am meal?" .)

I've seen this clue in The Sun and The Telegraph.
