I believe the answer is:

aramaic

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'language of christ's' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'account incorporated maria's translation' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
an anagram of 'maria' is 'ramai' which is located in the answer.
'account' could be 'ac' (abbreviation for account) and 'ac' is found within the remaining letters.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for aramaic that I've seen before include "Language believed to have been spoken by Jesus" , "Biblical speech" , "Near Eastern language" , "Ancient Semitic language" , "Biblical language" .)

I've seen this clue in the Sydney Morning Herald.
