Note always put in travel document? Just the opposite (4,5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

vice versa

'just the opposite' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'note always put in travel document?' is the wordplay.
'note' becomes 'c' (musical note).
'always' becomes 'ever' ('ever' can be a synonym of 'always').
'put in' is an insertion indicator.
'travel document?' becomes 'visa' (I've seen this before).
'c'+'ever'='cever'
'cever' inserted inside 'visa' is 'VICE VERSA'.

(Other definitions for vice versa that I've seen before include "otherwise" , "film" , "In reverse order" , "The other way around" , "The opposite (also applies)" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
