Crossword Genius

Quite blonde and extremely lovely (6)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

fairly

'quite' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'blonde and extremely lovely' is the wordplay.
'blonde' becomes 'fair' (similar in meaning).
'and' means one lot of letters go next to another.
'extremely' means to remove the middle letters (only the extremes of the word are used).
'lovely' with its centre taken out is 'ly'.
'fair'+'ly'='FAIRLY'

(Other definitions for fairly that I've seen before include "Equitably; passably" , "To a moderate degree" , "In an evenhanded manner - somewhat" , "Evenhandedly" , "pretty" .)
