lighting

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'settling head' is the definition.
The answer and definition can be both acts as well as being singular nouns.
Maybe they are linked in a way I don't understand?

'down right among heather' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'among' could be 'in' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'in' is found within the answer.
This may be the basis of clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for lighting that I've seen before include "Visual aids" , "Illumination" , "landing" , "Illuminating" , "What bulbs can provide" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
