Ross

I believe the answer is:

links

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'the head of spectre?' is the definition.
Although both the answer and definition are singular nouns, I can't understand how they can define each other.

'bond's relationship' is the wordplay.
'bond' becomes 'link' (I've seen this before).
'relationship' becomes 's' (I can't justify this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'link'+'s'='LINKS'

'with' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for links that I've seen before include "Joins on the golf course?" , "Rings or loops of a chain" , "Golf course by the sea" , "Ties; golf course" , "Golf courses close to the sea" .)

I've seen this clue in the Irish Times and the Irish Times (Crosaire).
