Break point in game (4-4)
I believe the answer is:
half-time
'break' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)
'point in game' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'point' could be 'time' (time is a kind of point) and 'time' is found within the answer.
The remaining letters 'half' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).
(Other definitions for half-time that I've seen before include "Pause in middle of game" , "Interval at games" .)
