'coming back' is the definition.
The definition and answer can be both acts as well as being singular nouns.
Perhaps there's a link between them I don't understand?

'earth have another go about november' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'earth' could be 'e' and 'e' is found within the answer.
'have' could be 'try' (trying is a kind of having) and 'try' is found within the answer.
'another' could be 're' (I've seen this in other clues) and 're' is present in the answer.
'november' could be 'n' (phonetic alphabet: alpha, bravo, charlie etc.) and 'n' is present in the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

'to' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for reentry that I've seen before include "of concern to NASA?" , "Return to the Earth's atmosphere" , "final part of space flight" .)

I've seen this clue in the Sydney Morning Herald.
