Ross

I believe the answer is:

one-two

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

This clue could be a double definition.

'couple of punches' is the first definition.
'one two' can be an answer for 'punches' (I have seen 'Quick punches' mean 'one two' so perhaps 'punches' could also mean 'one two'). I'm unsure of the 'couple of' bit.

'beginning to count' is the second definition.
(I've seen this before)

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for one-two that I've seen before include "Boxing or soccer manoeuvre" , "Soccer move" , "Swift couple of blows at boxing" , "Pair of punches with both hands in quick succession" , "Blow using fists' digits" .)
