black-jack

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'court' is the definition.
I don't know anything about this answer so I cannot judge whether this works.

'card on the pirate flag?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'card' could be 'black' (black playing card, as opposed to a red one) and 'black' is present in the answer.
'flag?' could be 'jack' (jack is a kind of flag) and 'jack' is present in the answer.
No letters remain.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
