I believe the answer is:

viscera

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'organs' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'endorsement about revolutionary place to play' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'about' could be 'c' (abbreviation for circa) and 'c' is found in the answer.
'place' could be 'is' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'is' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'vera' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for viscera that I've seen before include "Entrails -- CIS rave (anag)" , "Guts" , "Internal organs, intestines" , "Abdominal organs -- cars vie (anag)" , "organs inside" .)

I've seen this clue in The Independent.
