Although both the answer and definition are plural nouns, I can't see how one could define the other.

'hotel with things available at reception' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'hotel' could be 'h' (phonetic alphabet: alpha, bravo, charlie etc.) and 'h' is found in the answer.
'with' could be 'and' and 'and' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'bells' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
