Crossword Genius

Look out for neat design in this kind of shed (4-2)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

lean-to

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'shed' is the definition.
(I've seen this before)

'look out for neat design in this kind' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'for' could be 'to' (eg both can mean 'in the opinion of') and 'to' is found in the answer.
The remaining letters 'lean' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'of' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for lean-to that I've seen before include "greenhouse, perhaps" , "Building supported by another" , "Small building resting on side of larger one" , "Structure whose roof has only one slope" , "Shed abutting other building" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
