I believe the answer is:

palest

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'most faint' is the definition.
(I've seen this in another clue)

'pint dropping in for beers' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'beers' could be 'ales' (ale is a type of beer) and 'ales' is located in the answer.
'pint' could be 'pt' (abbreviation) and 'pt' is found within the remaining letters.
No letters remain.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'seeing' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for palest that I've seen before include "Of the lightest colour" , "Most blanched" , "Most light in colour" , "Most lightly coloured" .)
