I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'musical' is the definition.
(Andrew Lloyd Webber musical)

'account written up eliot say?' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'account' could be 'ca' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'ca' is present in the answer.
'eliot' could be 'ts' (TS Eliot famous British poet) and 'ts' is found within the answer.
This accounts for all the letters.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for cats that I've seen before include "Popular musical" , "Show" , "Domestic pets" , "1981 Lloyd Webber musical" , "Carnivores - stage musical" .)

I've seen this clue in The Telegraph.
