I believe the answer is:

'trade?' is the definition.
(I know that E-Commerce is a type of trade)
'online drug' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'online' could be 'e' (abbreviation for electronic, e.g. in ecommerce) and 'e' is found within the answer.
'drug' could be 'c' (C is an example) and 'c' is present in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
