Crossword Genius

Perform just right, spinning around in Hamlet? (3-5)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

tap-dance

'perform' is the definition.

'just right spinning around in hamlet?' is the wordplay.
'just right' becomes 'pat'.
'spinning' says the letters should be written in reverse.
'around' becomes 'c' (abbreviation for 'circa'**).
'in' means one lot of letters goes inside another.
'hamlet?' becomes 'dane' (Hamlet is a famous Dane).
'pat' back-to-front is 'tap'.
'c' placed into 'dane' is 'dance'.
'tap'+'dance'='TAP-DANCE'

I've seen this clue in The Times.
