I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'persuaded' is the definition.
The answer and definition can be both to do with communicating as well as being past participle verbs.
Maybe you can see a link between them that I don't see?

'talk when taken from the bank' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite see how this works, but
'taken' could be 'drawn' (drawing is a kind of taking) and 'drawn' is found in the answer.
'from' could be 'o' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'o' is present in the answer.
'the' could be 't' (the is pronounced as a 't' sound in some dialects) and 't' is found in the answer.
A single letter 'u' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'to' is the link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for drawn out that I've seen before include "open-air sketch might have been" , "Lack inspiration as cartoonist, say" , "Lengthy" , "too long" , "Extended" .)
