I believe the answer is:

sceptre

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'staff' is the definition.
(sceptre is a kind of staff)

'secret parking reserved' is the wordplay.
I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'parking' could be 'p' (abbreviation on road signs) and 'p' is found within the answer.
an anagram of 'secret' is 'scetre' which is located in the left over letters.
This accounts for all the letters.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

'for' acts as a link.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for sceptre that I've seen before include "Emblem of royalty" , "Respect (anag) -- symbol of ruler's authority" , "Royal baton" , "Staff carried by monarch" , "Royal staff (paired with 2 down)" .)

I've seen this clue in The Sun.
