Perhaps you can see an association between them that I can't see?

'some means' becomes 'label' (I have seen 'Means of identifying' mean 'label' so perhaps 'means' could also mean 'label').
'of identification?' becomes 'led' (I can't explain this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
