I cannot quite understand how this works, but
'that's' could be 'ie' and 'ie' is found within the answer.
'sides' could be 'rl' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'rl' is located in the leftover letters.
The remaining letters 'gab' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't see.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
