Crossword Genius

Vehicle guided to the bus terminus (4)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

sled

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'vehicle' is the definition.
(I know that sled is a type of vehicle)

'guided to the bus terminus' is the wordplay.
'guided' becomes 'led' ('lead' can be a synonym of 'guide').
'to' means one lot of letters go next to another (I've seen this in other clues).
'the bus terminus' becomes 's' (I can't explain this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'led' after 's' is 'SLED'.

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for sled that I've seen before include "Tray on which to slide" , "Sleigh" , "Snow vehicle" , "Goods vehicle" , "Snow transport" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
