'stirred up trouble' is the wordplay.
'stirred up' becomes 'torn' (I can't explain this - if you can you should give a lot more credence to this answer).
'trouble' becomes 'ado' (both can mean bother or commotion).
'torn'+'ado'='TORNADO'
