Crossword Genius

Wind up and pinch the star of Disneyland (4,3,6)

Ross

I believe the answer is:

take the mickey

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'star of disneyland' is the definition.
I don't know anything about this answer so I can't tell whether it can be defined by this definition.

'wind up and pinch the' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
an anagram of 'the' is 'eth' which is within the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for take the mickey that I've seen before include "Rib" , "Tease someone" , "Tease or ridicule" , "Unkindly tease" , "indulge in mockery?" .)

I've seen this clue in the Sydney Morning Herald.
