I believe the answer is:

wilde

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'oscar' is the definition.
(playwright Oscar Wilde)

'sounds angry' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'angry' could be 'wild' (synonyms) and 'wild' is located in the answer.
A single letter 'e' remains which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This explanation may well be incorrect...

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for wilde that I've seen before include "Irish dramatist and wit" , "Oscar --, playwright, wit and author" , "Oscar --, writer and wit" , "Oscar --, English writer" , "Author of The Portrait of Dorian Gray" .)

I've seen this clue in the Evening Standard.
