I believe the answer is:

achilles tendon

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'part of foot' is the definition.
'achilles tendon' can be an answer for 'part' (achilles tendon is a kind of part). I am not sure about the 'of foot' bit.

'unwell in pain nurses finally treat leg and' is the wordplay.
I cannot really see how this works, but
'unwell' could be 'ill' (similar in meaning) and 'ill' is found in the answer.
'pain' could be 'chest' (chest pain is a kind of pain) and 'chest' is found in the leftover letters.
'treat' could be 'do' (I've seen this in other clues) and 'do' is located in the answer.
'and' could be 'n' (common abbreviation for 'and') and 'n' is located in the answer.
This explanation may well be incorrect...
