Crossword Genius

Ross

I believe the answer is:

princes

I'm a little stuck... Click here to teach me more about this clue!

'harry but not quite diana?' is the definition.
I can't tell whether this defines the answer.

'will and' is the wordplay.
I cannot really understand how this works, but
'and' could be 'n' (common abbreviation for 'and') and 'n' is located in the answer.
The remaining letters 'prices' is a valid word which might be clued in a way I don't understand.
This may be the basis of the clue (or it may be nonsense).

Can you help me to learn more?

(Other definitions for princes that I've seen before include "king's followers?" , "Male royals" .)

I've seen this clue in The Guardian.
